We Love Cambodia, We Love Peace, But “Don’t Thai To Me”
We Love Cambodia, We Love Peace, But “Don’t Thai To Me”
Cambodia is a land of rich culture, warm-hearted people, and a deep love for peace. We cherish harmony and unity above all else. Through centuries, the Cambodian people have stood strong, valuing friendship with our neighbors but never backing down when it comes to defending our homeland.
Recent tensions at the border with Thailand remind the world why peace is priceless, but also why disrespect and aggression cannot be tolerated. Cambodia’s message is clear: we love peace, but we will defend our sovereignty without hesitation.
To our neighbors across the border, we say firmly: “Don’t Thai To Me.” Respect Cambodia’s borders. Respect our people’s right to live in peace.
Cambodia’s spirit is unbreakable. Our unity and love for peace will always shine brighter than conflict. But let this be a reminder to all-peace is our choice, not our weakness.
Cambodia Did Not Fire First
Thai Crossed First — Cambodia Was Forced to Defend
Since May 2025, Thailand has carried out repeated military provocations and territorial violations against Cambodia.
- May 28: A Cambodian soldier was killed in a Thai sneak-in attack near the Emerald Triangle (Chong Bok).
- June 2025: Thailand unilaterally closed the border and threatened to halt oil and essential goods exports to Cambodia, an act of economic hostility. Cambodia did not retaliate, choosing peace.
📍 Timeline of Escalation — July 24, 2025:
- 6:30 AM: Thailand violated bilateral agreements by secretly installing barbed wire near Ta Moan Thom Temple, a sensitive zone.
- 7:04 AM: Thai drones hovered over Cambodian territory for 2 minutes, a clear act of intimidation.
- 8:30 AM: Thai troops fired warning shots near the contested area.
- 8:46 AM: Thai invasion forces opened live fire on Cambodian troops at Ta Moan Temple.
- The attack spread to Ta Krabei Temple, Phnom Kmoach, and escalated to the Mom Bei area in Preah Vihear Province — with F-16 fighter jets reportedly used against Cambodian positions, marking an unprecedented military escalation.
- 8:47 AM: Cambodia was forced to respond — defending our people, land, and sovereignty after being attacked without provocation.
Cambodia stands united. We are a nation of peace, but we will not be bullied. The facts are clear. We did not start the war, but we will finish it with truth, courage, and national pride.
